Now if only we could get the U.S. version of the full game before we get the expansion, we'd be set.

July 31, 2003 - Even though a final retail version of Gothic II has yet to hit stateside, despite the third-person action adventure being available in European territories for quite some time now, an official website dedicated to the game's planned expansion pack, The Night of the Raven (Die Nacht des Raben in German), is already online and offering some very preliminary details regarding the add-on.

Granted, there is pretty much nothing to learn or see at the official website, aside from a few quick screens and the always frustrating "when it's done" tagline, but it's still neat to know it exists. Knowing things is half the battle, or so Duke tells us.

Unless you speak German and are intent on not learning anything at all, please just be content with finding all of the newly released screenshots contained in our media page below. While you're sifting through them, be sure to pray to high heaven that we receive our Gothic II and Night of the Raven sometime before Gothic VI comes out.
